F1 is having a moment. With no shortage of brands looking to capitalize on the cultural relevance of F1, Android is one of the few with a legitimate connection to the sport via their partnership with McLaren: Android equips Team McLaren with the technology to communicate and stay informed at the track, playing a pivotal role in McLaren’s speed and efficiency in critical race day situations.

With dozens of stickers on the car, we developed a format that allowed us to tell the 1:1 partnership story at 1:24 scale—helping Android stand out. To educate and entertain at the same time, we gave ourselves a radical task: let the drivers have fun.

What’s more fun than remote control cars? We transformed the McLaren HQ into the World’s Smallest GP and created the ultimate RC racetrack for McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to flex their skills and let ‘em rip—bringing race day energy to the brand story.
